The Owning your presentation credential covers the skills and knowledge required in understanding the importance of developing presentations that are both engaging, memorable, creative, and informative, and the tools that you can use to achieve this. 

Owning your presentation comprises of 2 micro-credential stacked courses of learning, followed by a completion of assessment tasks at the end of each skill level, to test the learner’s knowledge and understanding.

It comprises 11 lessons of learning, followed by a completion quiz to test your knowledge and understanding.  By the end of this course, you will demonstrate understanding in:

  • Non-verbal communication and how to use this to your advantage when presenting. 
  • Using open postures and gestures 
  • The role that your pitch, tone and volume play in the delivery of your message. 
  • Developing skills to monitor non-verbal and verbal communication of participants. 
  • Principles associated to creating visuals.
  • The Kilpatrick Model and how to integrate this in to developing your presentation.
