• Identifying focus areas for the healthcare environment.
• How to identify workplace hazards and practices to follow in addressing these.
• How to run and workplace safety meetings and raising OHS issues.
• Implementing practices that promote and maintain safe practices.
• Developing and implementing emergency procedures in the workplace. 
• Applying strategies that promote currency of safe work practices for direct client care.
• Identifying work-related stress and fatigue, and development of coping strategies.
